Solitude

"Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.”

                                                                                                                          ― Jodi Picoult
It was a benign Sunday morning and a serene sound was been heard on radio. Mr. Kapoor was reading newspaper, just when he had completed reading an article about the hazardous consequences of being lonely a song was been heard by him on the radio 'akele Hain to kya gum hai?......."and thus he got nabbed between the article and the lyrics of the song.

We talk more about the negative effects of being lonely but this is not completely true. The famous psychologist of Yale university Paul bloom says "loneliness is like an antibiotic medicine, if consumed in limited amount then it can make your personality marvellous and if it's relished in a higher amount then it get to problematic."  Bloom further says "while being lonely our unconscious mind operates massively and this working can be either negative or positive.

Scrutinise that Hitler as well as Gandhi they both loved loneliness. Picasso and Einstein too adored loneliness.  The famous German writer Thomas Mann has said "Solitude gives birth to the original in us, to beauty unfamiliar and perilous - to poetry. But also, it gives birth to the opposite: to the perverse, the illicit, the absurd."

Solitude is not meant to abhor but to adore. Solitude doesn't mean living in seclusion but to live with a balance  of loneliness and company because as we know it calms our mind and helps us to think creatively. People says"we don't need this, because we are neither writers nor poets. Then why?" But lemme tell you creativity fetches out  elephantine success in all aspects of life and career, because in this situation our subconscious mind works flawlessly.
